Cooperation with academic institutions

In its resolution 60/23 of 23 November 2005, the General Assembly "Encourages the enhanced cooperation with academic institutions and the use of internship programme for the preparation of studies", and in its resolution 61/38 of 4 December 2006, the Assembly "Commends the Secretary General for the progress made in the preparation of studies of the Repertory of Practice of United Nations Organs, including the increased use of the internship programme of the United Nations and the wider cooperation with academic institutions for this purpose […]".

Several studies prepared in cooperation with Columbia University Law School (New York), the Law Faculty of the University of Geneva, the Graduate Institute of International Studies (Geneva), University of Paris X - Nanterre, University of Paris I - Sorbonne, University of Paris II - Assas, Université Paul Cézanne (Aix-Marseilles III) and Université libre de Bruxelles (ULB), have been placed on this site. Researchers from various countries were involved in their preparation.
